I’ve been teaching drums for a long time! I started teaching private lessons at the high school I attended…and developed a passion for developing drummers. Since then I’ve taught at all levels from junior high, high school, collegiate and professional. I’ve literally taught students from 7 to 70!

I’ve also maintained a private lesson schedule from my home. I try to provide a practical approach to teaching. Whether you are a parent with a young student looking to get into the school band or a professional trying to get experience in new drumming genres, I believe I can help you reach your goals. I gauge my lessons to the student’s needs and abilities.

Of course with the COVID-19 situation I have moved to online lessons. My studio is equipped with a Multicam/multi-microphone setup, audio interface and ethernet connected computer. Online lessons are different to be sure, but there are benefits to every challenge. I feel my online drum lessons maintain a level of instruction equivalent to the real, in-person experience. I hold lessons via Zoom, Skype or Facebook Chat.
